There are different ways to participate in the European Ivy League:
NEW: Allstar Team
Students have the unique chance to play in a soccer team with a company of their choice. Candidates can apply with their CV and are subsequently selected by the companies to play in their team.
Soccer
Since the EIL mainly is a soccer tournament, we encourage you to participate with a soccer team and compete against other schools from all different European countries. Since the European Ivy League 2009, we are proud to offer a girls' tournament as well, and we look forward to many girls' team registrations for this year as well.
The general requirements for a soccer team are:
- 5 players (including goalkeeper)
- up to 3 substitutes
Cheerleading
If you want your school soccer team(s) to win, you need to support them! Of course, cheerleading teams don't have to be all-girls, we encourage guys to participate as well.
There are no restrictions to the number of members on a cheerleading team - the more, the better!
Supporters
The European Ivy League is for everybody, not just for sports maniacs. There's also the possibility to travel along with your team(s) and enjoy all the EIL fun while supporting your school.
The number of supporters per team is not limited.
Alumni
The European Ivy League provides a great opportunity for HHL Alumni to come back to their alma mater and connect with friends and other HHL students and alumni.
There will also be an Alumni soccer team that you are welcome to join.
Companies
Every year, several companies decide to join the European Ivy League with their own soccer teams. For the Ivy League 2011, companies are again invited to take part in the tournament with their soccer teams.
