This was a special night where everybody contributed some tasty food from her or his culture or country. We really celebrated our diverse student body here and got to taste some good food at the same time. Some might broaden their famous recipe collection. We had a big range of all sorts of food: from green Thai curry and Pakestani chicken to German 'Weißwurst' and Spanish omelette.

Furthermore we wrapped our gifts for 'presents in a shoebox'. Thanks to the generous donators.

FAUST and Business Students Without Boarders teamed up to support the 'presents in a shoebox' campaign. We collected over 500 Euro in empty bottles and cash to buy Christmas gifts for kids in Eastern Europe. We packed 20 packages for girls and boys to make a happy Christmas for them. Thanks to all the generous donators.

At the beginning of December the whole HHL celebrated our Christmas Party with "Glühwein" (hot and sweet mulled wine), "Plätzchen" (cookies) and "Lebkuchen" (gingerbread). Tasty confitures and hand-made crafts were sold for a good purpose. Furtermore we were singing English and German Chirstmas songs and because everybody has been good a special guest visited us.

You think good wine and Germany do not fit? Think again! We visited the famous Kloster Pforta vineyard and learned a lot about the long tradition of cultivating vines in the area. Of course we also got some delicious sample on this educational and happy afternoon.
