Through compelling negotiation methods and strategies, the participating teams must prove their skills and compete through several rounds. The winning teams of each round will progress to the next round. In the final round the two best teams will compete in front of an international jury composed of lawyers, business leaders, professors of HHL and other participating colleges. The best team will win a trophy and be titled "The Best Negotiator 2010”.
Taking place in the beautiful and historic city of Leipzig, Germany this years competition will offer many opportunities to enjoy the many attractions that Leipzig has to offer. These include:

- The world famous St. Thomanerchor
- Bach, Schiller, Goethe, Mendelssohn
- 600 year anniversary of the University of Leipzig
